Schools are all shut down

That figures. When I was young we had a superintendent who had moved up from the south, he didn't understand what banked snow days were (so many free days to use up without extending the last day of school into summer), so he just never used them. It could be ice and 3 feet of snow, and we still had school.

Now, I live a ten minute walk from work, so I have no excuse for not showing up. Luckily, if it's bad out, the delivery trucks don't show, so I get paid for doing next to noghting all night.

I almost did the same thing. Caught my door in time though.
All the people in the area were standing outside their doors in awe of the sleet and ice.
