school web filtering...

at my school when we try to go to blockd sites it gives an error page that says (Teddy) at the end of it. Is there any way around it?

If the site is blocked, it's probably blocked for a reason. If it's a site that you think is unreasonably blocked, ask your teacher or one of the computer sysadmins at your school if they can unblock it for you.

Here's the hacker in me coming out. Go look at TOR. It will allow to bypass the content filter.

I have bypassed filters, but I will nerver tell anyone who is in school. It just is not right. Do what you need to do on your own time, school is not the place for it.

Discussing ways to get around a block-list is grounds for a ban, folks. JW310 has the correct answer - if you really need the site, ask them to unblock it. Otherwise, buy your own internet. 😛
