This movie is simply awesome. I love it. Does anyone else?

In the ancient times,
An artist led the way,
But no one...
Seemed to understand.....

"Chimes...."

In his heart he knew..
The artist, must be true -
But the legend, of the rent,
Was way past due!

"and then Katie, you come in with the bass-"
Rim bim bim bim bim..>!

Well you think you'll be just fine,
Without me but your mine!
You think you can
Kick me out of the band

"and then Zach you come in with a facemelter!"
Reeeer neeer n-n-n-neeeer!!!

You're not hardcore
"no your not hardcore!"
Unless you live hardcore
"unless you live hardcore"

But the legend
Of the rend
Was way hardcore!

"BOOM! Big ol' explosion, some like confetti comes down..."

Great movie.

Well I usually like Jack Black, but I thought this was a lil' bit too "feel good"~ish. And Jack is the good guy, and he's not his usual obnoxious self . . ..

I thought it was ok.

My movie review exactly. It was cute, tolerable for one-time viewing. I won't be buying it.

I really liked the nicknames he gave the kids, too. Fancy pants, posh spice. And then "Lil nepotiz" on the polish phil harmonic lol!

I'm trying to figure out what your parody reply has to do with this post because there cannot be a single soul on this planet who believes this to be even remotely true.

please point to the thread you are parodying so I can better understand your reply.

Thanks

No. Like others have said, the feel good story dragged it down. This is the fate of too many potentially excellent comedies these days. There was a couple hilarious parts though. The one you mentioned and another one where he says to the class that another teacher is on crack or something.

It was alright, I really don't much like kids so wouldn't put it anywhere near the top of the list. That spot is occupied by American Beauty.
