autozone prices range from 45 - 75. Does it matter which I buy? I am planning on buying a new car in at most 1 year.

Buy the cheapest one there is, especially when you plan to get rid of the car in 1 yr

Doesn't matter which one you get as long as it fits your car and works. I'm sure that most of the more expensive batteries will have a little more cold cranking amp hours and a slightly longer warranty. I would just get the cheapest one since you are going to be getting a new car within a year.

Car battery should last 3 - 5 years depending on how frequently you start your car, how far you drive, and what condition your alternators is in.

you also need to factor in climate - how hot / cold your region is. With that said, I would get the cheapest battery available if you plan on dumping the car in the near future.
