Back when I was in grade school I was one of the biggest/tallest kids so of couse a lot of runts would try to fvck with me. I have a lot of stories but I think this one sticks out in particular.

In 3rd grade this kid kept fvcking with me in the halls. He would come up to me and push me or push stuff out of my hands. One day I was walking and I saw him coming to pull the same sh!t so I grabbed him by his hair and pushed his face into a locker. Then I slugged him square in the kisser and he fell down. He was still holding his math book so I ripped it out of his hand and started beating his face with it. Didn't stop till the teacher pulled me off of him, which wasn't very long. I remember some blood. And I got suspended for a week. The kid was ok and like everyone I have ever fought we became really good friends after that. Who says fighting never solves anything?

Oh my yes. Many times. I was a pudgy kid, so it came naturally.

Edit: OK, I'll add my favorite story. So I was in 7th grade, and I wake up that morning to my mom being a total rag. She was b1tching and yelling the whole way to school (she hates being late, and I was severely dragging a$$ that morning). I get there, and a "friend" of mine snaps me with a rubber band, just joking around. I turn to him and tell him that I'm really not in the mood when I feel a finger poke me in the side, and a "Hee hee" noise like the Pillsbury Doughboy. For the record, it's not my fault he turned around. I just snapped and started swinging. First hit caught him in the side of the head and he dropped. The next few were to his face while he was on the ground trying to stop me.

I was still the fat kid (I wasn't even that big, but self esteem is a motherfvcker), but NOBODY fvcked with me for 2 full weeks after that. I got handshakes on the way out of class. It was the last time I actually fought that particular kid.

Edit 2: Oh, and it bears noting that the time before that when I beat that kid up, we were pissing at the same time about a week after the fact and he told me he pissed blood. Some people just don't learn.

Edit 3: One last note: 6 fights in grade school, in 4 of them the OTHER kid got detention (I was the one that started them all, but only after being provoked), the other 2 nobody got in trouble.

Yeah in middle school. My former best friend was driving me nuts. He kept flicking my ears non stop and he drove me nuts when he walked by just scuffing his feet and not picking them up. There was some other things too. We walked into some math class and I went nuts on him. I threw a desk at him and punched him. Teacher broke it up right away and we went to the principals office. I was a good kid though so we just had to appoligize to each other, nothing else.

I don't need to prove anything here. you can search the archive for ny newsday, but this happened back in 1994 so I couldnt find anything online

I believe it's clear, then, that the shens will remain.

Best one was when I was in the 6th grade. I was pretty tall at the time and already had a size 11 shoe. (size 14 now) So this stupid kid that was short and geeky looking was trying to show off for the other guys in Phys Ed. He started the class off by kicking me in the shin as we're going down to the locker room....of course, he was taking Karate classes in the evenings and, well, the kick didn't even hurt. So I played it down like it didn't bother me cause I really didn't want to fight.

We get to the locker room and he starts talking with the school bully(kid that always had the rep for beating ppl to a pulp)...So the bully talks him into starting a fight with me. This little short kid kicks me a second time in the leg and I back into a corner between the lockers and the wall...by this time there are about 8 guys surrounding us to watch. The little kid kicks me a third and fourth time and I just stand there and take it....still....doesn't hurt. Finally the bully whispers something in this kid's ear because the fight wasn't really a fight. This kid holds up his fist from about 5 feet out and says, "KARATE!!! PUNCH OF DEATH!!!" and starts running toward me. I backed into the wall and held my foot up with a light kick and kicked his fist.... He started crying...then attacked me a like a girl. I picked him up and threw him across the room into the lockers (about 6 feet) and he hit the floor and lockers.... The coach said, "what's that noise?" And everyone shouted, "Archer tried to fight Ryan!" Coach started laughing EXTREMELY hard and said, "Get dressed ladies."

Never. I was new to the area when I went into kindergarten. I remember some bullies attacking me. I think someone pushed me over someone stooping behind me. I stayed away from anything like that ever after.

No fights

but I stabbed a kid in the back randomly with a pencil in kindergarten.

He was a friend but I think he was just annoying me.

Well since we're giving English lessons, you should learn to capitalize.

Anyway, I had a few scraps in grade school that I hardly remember, but when I was attending college I came back to my truck once only to find some ass trying to break into it. He didn't see me coming from behind as he was messing with the driver's side lock, but let's just say he ate the side of my truck. I then got in my truck and casually left as he laid on the ground, stunned as hell, trying to figure out WTF just happened.

Yes, been in them, but even when you win, they all hurt to some degree.

Best one-on-one was with my soon to be best friend for life. He was a big bastard, we were both in shape, so it went on for a while. It was one of those after school things that 100+ people gathered for. Worst spot he got me in was when he was on my chest for a few seconds pummeling away. Most of them were misses like in that street fight movie posted last week, but he did land a few hard ones. Beat the piss out of each other until we were both too tired to go anymore, that was when I learned there usually is no winner in a fight. As it turned out, he picked the fight because he thought my dad was screwing his mom (not true of course), but been best of friends after that for 25 years.

Best I was ever owned, was by a teacher. I'm old enough to be of the "beaten by teachers when you get out of line" generation. I used to yell his name in a funny voice to his class through the door vent every time I went by his door. This went on for a few months. One day when I was switching out books between periods. He came up behind me, spun me around, picked me off the ground by my neck, and gave me a short, quick pop to the gut. Not really a fight since I couldn't breathe, but I found out quick some of them old guys are pretty strong.;)

Why are you, a girl, the the boys' locker room?
Why were the guys beating on a girl?
How did you pick up a guy and throw him?
Why is your name Ryan if you're a girl?

More than I can count. In my school system it was basically impossible for black kids to get into trouble. If a white kid got into a fight with one, it was considered a "racial incident" and the kid with the lightest skin would be the one punished no matter who started it or why. So some of the black kids would roam around in packs robbing and beating the sh1t out of anyone who looked vulnerable. If you complained about it you were branded a "racist" and that just made it worse. I was this scrawny, gawky-looking redhead and I got singled out often. I gave as good as I got, but often I was fighting multiple opponents so I got beat a lot. I did break a kid's leg in ninth grade, and another kid's nose a few months later, so that got me a year or two of respect.

Of course I also had the usual jock assholes and I'LL KICK YOUR ASS YOU FAGIT redneck types to deal with too, but that was easier.

Only once - in the locker room.

My sister on the other hand - Once she ripped the pants off a girl during a dire drill, then later that year she punch another girl in the face, splitting open a nice 3 inch gash above her eye.

You know Carson fromQueer Eye for the Straight Guy? Well, he was an asshole in H.S. also. Wasn't really a fight - I was just explaining something to him and his feet happened to be a few inches off the floor.

Ever been in one?

Nope. Nobody ever touched me at school (it was the best school in town so no wonder). However, long ago a guy wanted to punch me in the face but missed and hit on the ear. He disappeared so quickly I couldn't hit back.
