I mean WTF is that about? It's funny, they played Saving Private Ryan uncut too....hmmmm. I wonder what these two movies have in common.

You can't compare the two situations. The nudity, etc. displayed in the films you've mentioned was in context. While I'm all for Janet, or anyone cracking out their mammaries on live TV, you simply can't compare the two situations.

Please explain it to me. Why is one harmful to the viewing audience and the other isn't?

I do not hate Germans, but I do have a deep reservations towards them, because of the history...
Thats it...
I hope you have some deep reservations for Americans because we've done some pretty fvcked up sh!t in the past.

One is "pornography" and one is art. I would, however, argue that neither is harmfull to the viewing audience.

No... some of my mothers father was German, and his uncle was apparently in the third reich, which is why the family split, with about half staying and the rest going to various places.

This goes against everything the German community has worked on over the past many decades in being accepted into the world and not hated.

Anyone who watches a movie about a people group that no longer exist as a whole on a national scale, and begins to hate that whole on a national scale (that is no longer of the persuasion in the movie, mind you) because of how they USED TO BE and not what they ARE NOW, is a FREAKING IDIOT.

Which one is art and which one is pornography? If it is not harmful, then what is the problem?
