If I want to do a scheduled task and set it up so that every Monday night it does a defrag or a chdsk, how does this work? I can set it up through scheduled tasks but when it comes up it sits there and waits for me to hit defrag or to pick a harddrive. is there a way in xp to customize everything so i can have it go through everything over night while i am in bed? any help is greatly appreciated
 
this might not be helpful, but norton systemworks 2002 has a built in scheduler. other than that, a script for running an unattended defrag/chkdsk is also feasible.
