Scheduled Tasks in XP Home Issue

We have this issue on all of our XP Home machines:

I phoned them and they told me where to download the hotfix for this issue...too bad that I installed it and it didn't do a damn thing.

All I need to do is schedule a batch file to run every night, but can't because of this.

Anyone know of a workaround for this issue?

Are these SP2 machines? Are you sure this is the same exact problem as the article?

Do you get this error: The attempt to retrieve account information for the specified task failed; therefore, the task did not run. Either an error occurred, or no account information existed for the task. 0x8004130f: No account information could be found in the Task Scheduler security database for the task indicated.

Yes that is the exact error, and yes they all have SP2 installed. There seems to be a work around for XP Pro, but not home. :|
