Scheduled task problem

My scheduled tasks keep failing to run on my Windows 2000 Adv. Server. The Status always says, "Could not start". When I reset the password and do a manual run, it will run. It will even run when I scheduled it run every couple of minutes but if I set it longer than a 24 hr period, it will not run.

Strange

You specifying the computer or domain name in the login?

<yourcomputer\<youraccount> instead of just <youraccount>?

It will not allow me to do <computer name>\<username>

It only does <domain>\<username>.

I currently have it set to run the backup script every night which will not work, however, if I specify it for 5 or 10 min intervals, it will work.

Very strange.

When I put in just "Administrator" in the username blank and then set the password, it automtically changes it to domain\administrator.

If put in computer\administrator, it says
An error has occured while attempting to set task account information. The specific error is: 0x80041310: Unable to establish existence of the account specified. Ensure the account name specified is valid.

This is the same error message I get if I enter an invalid computer name.

This is very irritating.
Thanks!
