Ok, here are the facts. This just started this morning.

Turned TV on to see the picture switch between correct picture and snow (interval of about a second). Just kept going back and forth.

The Comcast(Motorola) 2 tuner DVR is connected via a DVI to HDMI cable to the TV's media box. I also tried the other HDMI port, same problem. I switched to use the component and it worked just fine.

Sound does NOT have a problem, although that is a seperate LR cable from the box to a receiver.

I couldn't really do any diagnostics on the cable box since it kept cutting in and out. The TV's menu system is still accessible.

I have spent a good amount of time searching on the web but without luck. Probably because I don't know the term for what is happening to me (ok picture then snow and back again every second).

Anyone got a clue?

PS- Comcast is coming out to check on Wed, no response from Sceptre Tech support yet.

I have the same box/TV and I havent experienced problems. Sounds like your cable box or the Sceptres media box may have gone bad. Do you have any other DVI/HDMI sources to check the media box.

When I get home I'll try hooking up the computer to see what happens.

That may have completely seperate issues (I send it 1080p and it shows up as scrolling 1280x1024). However it should tell you the port at least works. I am currently e-mailing customer service about it back and forth :(.

A HDMI DVD player would probably be the best comparison.
