If you are considering this Model for your PC using it's DVI input mode there are (2) things you should be aware of.......

1.) The model provides no "Standby power down" It will show a bright blue screen unless you power it off with the On/Off button.

2.) It has a difficult time rendering darker shadows in games or DVD viewing. Seems to get washed out look and pixelated.

Other than these things; it looks great! Auto adjust feature works very well and image quality is excellant aside from the before mentioned. I plan to contact Sceptre again regarding shadow rendering as it does it at any resolution selected.

30 inches of viewing Real Estate!! Man I love it!

This lcd is just as good as any name brand out there w/o the cost, the only reason it wasnt a 5 was because there was one dead pixel which is isnt noticable at all unless you enjoy staring at a bluescreen all day because that is the only place where it is recognizable, overall it is an excelent buy.

..that's what I was afraid of..all one big molded plastic housing. What a shame too..I would think if somebody wanted a large display like this they would want to use a good sound system with it. So I guess this would be a good all in one system for a 2ndary non critical installation.
