I checked the sticky at the top of this forum for this monitor, but at 177 pages, I simply don't have the time to look through them all and the search is worthless as usual.

Does anyone have any info on this monitor.

I was thinking about picking one up. I game a decent amount (BF2, CS:S, FarCry, Oblivion etc) but also write papers and watch TV on the computer etc. Can anyone recommend this panel or another in this price range that might be better?
 
i actually have one here still in its box. looks great in the box if that helps 😛

seriously, i'd like to hear some peoples opinions on it. i got this one for muy son and i was thinking about retutrning it to costco for an upgrade.
 
I have this monitor, and it's true that you get what you pay for. It's a nice monitor, especially after using a 15" CRT. But it's just a 4 star product to me. Doesn't come with a DVI cable, although they can be had for cheap and many have them lying around the house. The picture is so much clearer when using DVI. The logo has some bleeding at the very bottom, you probably won't notice it. But if you sit high enough, it may bother you. Personally, it's a nice monitor, but I think you can do better for just a little more green.
