looked like a decent monitor for the price....

I basically need a monitor, since I gave mine to my parents and am using my laptop, rendering my other computers useless and I want to put Linux on one of them. SO... I want a fairly nice-looking monitor, possibly useable in the future for gaming but not that big of a deal, but especially inexpensive and definitely at least 1280x1024.

Any recommendations?

Has anyone used that one or a similar panel?

Thank you!

EDIT: Oh, bother... I just noticed it's only analog input; I guess I'm just looking for a recommendation.
How about this one:

The Samsung 740B should be pretty decent. I was quite satisfied with my Samsung 710T (for its era). Good brand and it has dual (DVI+D-Sub) input. Also economical. For 19", go for the BenQ FP91G+ or ViewSonic VX922.

P.S. There have been awesome deals on the ViewSonic VX2025WM you may want to check out, though maybe more than you want to pay.

I own a 37" Sceptre Naga, and have been very happy with it. I don't know that this bears on your question, other than to say the quality appears good and I would buy another Sceptre.
