With Sam's return policy, it's easy to be a guinea pig. :) Get their extended warranty, it's worth the extra couple pennies.

I agree. Be the guinea pig. :D

Actually, I'm looking to get a 19" LCD too.
Probably 95% of my time on the PC is text, internet, etc...
I want gaming to be bright, colorful, with no ghosting because what little time I get to game, I want it to be near perfect.
I tried the Samsung 915N and I loved it for gaming, but for text it wasn't very sharp. Probably the lack of DVI.
I'd love something as sharp as my wife's Samsung 711T (1000:1 contrast ratio), but with 12ms or less response time (16 as an absolute minimum).
I was thinking the Hyundai L90D+ since it's the same panel as the 915N, but the contrast ratio is only 500:1 (like the 915N).
This might be work peeking at (if the contrast ratio rating is accurate).

Well I figured why not and I am very Glad that I did. Wow what a difference! This monitor has No ghosting. The Blacks are Great. Only 2 areas for improvement .
1. better speakers although they are easy to adjust.
2 more option on the monitor for adjustment however with DVI you really do not need all the adjustment that you do with CRT.
I upgraded from a barely used Viewsonic PF790 19" and I thought that was nice.
