I remember seeing a pretty good scatter as a guest on The Tonight Show a while ago. I forgot who it was though. Do you guys know of any good modern day scatters out there?
 
Check out the Anchorman DVD commentary...they have Lou Rawls and Will Ferrell having a "scat-off" Let's just say Lou Rawls wipes the floor with him

Yeah, but I'm talking about an artist that does stuff in the style of Louis Armstrong or something.
 
Wow, I thought this might be about music, but I'm surprised anyone still listens to this kinda stuff. I remember listening to scat in music class in 1st and 2nd grade.

I know all of you probably hate him for "don't worry be happy," but Bobby McFerrin sort of scats, though he goes way beyond it. Buy "Spontaneous Inventions" it is one of my favorite albums by anybody. "Beyond Words" is good, too.
