Scary south NJ weather...

Wow, i'm not sure i've ever seen winds so bad. They put out an emergency broadcast telling people of tornados and to be ready to flee into basements if necesary. Never been through anything like this... kinda worrisome.

Were tornados sited, or was this a warning? It's windy here in north NJ too, but I haven't heard anything about tornados.

I'm in VA and we got some nasty weather too. Full blown tstorm (not as scary as a tornado, however) that took out some trees and tore one of our shutters in half. Kinda weird for this time of year.

We got a few power outages in my part of south jersey, but I don't think much worse than that. Hell, the sun is even shining now!

Scary weather. Am I wrong in remembering that tornado's NEVER used to happen in December?

Hey Jorken, I live in Hopewell township and the wind is kickin some serious butt...little bits of siding are coming off the house!! Yikes!!

The wind kinda died off by late afternoon here. I am across the river from Trenton. It was warm all day though, about 65.

I just drove down from Boston to NYC. Holy cow, I've never driven in such bad weather. It was raining as if someone was spraying a hose on my windshield. The wind was so bad that my car would sometimes get pushed halfway into the lane. Another time, I hydroplaned when I hit about 12 inches of water of water going 60 on I-95. It was insane. I was scared for my life out there.
