so what if it doesn't decompose, what matters is whether or not it digests

Sometimes it comes out the way it went in, except all chewed up, with special sauces added (theres a pleasant thought).

Bury it or just throw it on the ground and see if it still lasts 2 years, lol. Unless I'm mistaken, most of the decomposition process is driven by bacteria/fungi from the environment... either delivered through the soil, visiting insects, or whatnot.

yup

i wonder what preservatives op thinks the evil corps are injecting into raisins to get them to last:p

That's been debunked hundreds of times.

I dare you to link just 5 out of the "hundreds".

I have no real information as to whether it is real or not.

But just looking at the burger, what immediately sticks out is that there is no ketchup or mustard or onions or pickle slices on it, which points to it being a fake.

You do realize that you can order the burger dry?, which is exactly how you would do so if you were going to conduct an experiment to see how long you could keep it around.

Pretty much says it all.

I take it you never watched 'Supersize Me'?

that film was weak.

eat until you are past full 3 times a day..yea you are trying to fatten yourself like a fois gras duck, no sh*t you'll feel horrible.

studies have been repeated at university with much less drastic and sometimes no effect, very rarely was anyone affected like spurlock, who apparently is simply a genetically weak specimen.

that film wasn't much more than a fast food version of a david blain trick.

The scary thing is they actually use that propaganda DVD to teach in public schools. I've seen it used in FACS (2009 version of what used to be called Home Ec when I was in school) and health classes in the school I work in.

sad...i guess critical thinking isn't on the list of priorities in teaching these days. must create compliant and easily led citizens.....

Pretty much anything fried will not decompose. The oil prevents moisture from contacting the food, so bacteria can't grow.

Uh, that will happen with any fried potato.

I can make a french fry that doesn't decompose after a good fry as well...

Also whenever anybody brings up how nasty Spurlock felt in SuperSize me, he was a vegetarian when he started the experiment, and went to an extreme, high meat / high processed food diet.
