Scary EULA for Comodo Firewall

This was posted on another site and is about the EULA
of Comodo Firewall ... If any of it is real, it is very scary
and potentially dangerous, both to the computer and the
end user. Possible legal ramifications here as well.

This is an AV program right? Still.. that language is way over reaching. It doesnt have to be that broad...

Read the Microsoft EULA for windows it is equally scary. Most people just click through them, but most have some really bad terms. Like a poster above said though, EULA cannot be used to make you give up a right you have under the law.

The program shown is free and includes firewall, antivirus, and various other anti-malware programs. Comodo needs to be able to remove files that it believes are malware and it's getting harder and harder to do that. MS has a similar warning with its Malicious Software Removal Tool. Both companies want to avoid users and software makers complaining that their favorite program just got deleted or damaged by antimalware software.
