scary - cat on lsd

Here's a novel idea: Why don't they just leave the poor critter alone and not inject it with LSD to begin with. I swear, some of the sadistic experiments that are done under the pretense of "science."

Not funny at all.

The THUG that did this should have 100X the dosage injected through his johnson. :|

heh i fed my guinea pig acid once way back in college... it really had a good time, it smiled.... any it was a guinea pig.. what else was i supposed to do with it besides experiment on it?

I think they should have followed this experiment by showing the "scientist" in that box after he received three times the fatal dose of LSD via eyeball injection.

No, injection...with a 9" long, rusty, thick as a pencil lead, needle.

they should have done it to that chef in the "cut a half of the fish and keep it alive" video too.

Ok my brother calls shens on the video. He said they just put the cat in a washer on spin and it's really dizzy. How the F would he know????!

Because HE put it in the washer.

I read this as "cat on lcd" and my only question was how long did he balance himself on top of it.

Animal testing in general is necessary to make advancements people take for granted.

he must have tried that experiment himself

It must have been an insane quantity to cause that kind of loss of muscle control - never seen that in a human even on quite silly doses.

LSD is essentially non-toxic (potatoes have a lower LD50) and can cause no physical harm to a cat or a scientist. In fact scientists did ingest large quantities of LSD for experimental purposes.

While it wasn't pretty to watch, I personally would much rather see a cat--or other animal--injected to study the effects of a potentially harmful substance than I would a human.

In the case of LSD, though, as the poster above me said, its inventor frequently used it on himself to test it.

One of the original investigated uses for LSD was use as a truth serum in espionage and the like. They could get people to talk, but the problem was half or more of the ****** they said never really happened. They were just tripping balls.
