I really don't think that Nancy Pelosi is going to run the house like an extension of the berkley left wing.

I think she knows how important the job the dems do in the house is to any chance of success in '08, so I've got a feeling like she's going to really move to the center and push a populist, centrist agenda.

Major gun-control proponent. Lower on the ladder than Feinstein though. Being the head of the House will be interesting for sure, seeing what she wants to see brought up.

She did conceed a couple of years ago to let go of the assault weapons ban since it was going to cost them votes. But now that she's in...

There are a lot of single issue voters around. Guns and abortion being at the top.

Not that I have a big care either way, just what most people are going to go ape shiznit over.
