Scariest movie ever?

I need ideas for what scary movies to rent...My little cousins are over and they need a good scare.

I was thinking The Shining, but I haven't seen it in a while and I'm not sure if it was as scary as I had made it out to be back in the day.

Any ideas would be great, thanks in advance! 🙂

Edited: These cousins range in age from 10 to 15 and they like the psychological scary movies more.

Yeah, the shining is always a classic. Depends on what kind of scary you're looking for, really. Since they're litte, I'd say go for something that's really in your face. Dawn of the Dead, perhaps?

Dawn of the Dead remake, with the original Shining coming in at a close second.

The Shining is definitely the scariest book I've ever read, though.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. The oompa-loompas scared me silly when I was little 😱

EDIT: dang, they're probably too old.

the shining
the ring
The Nightmare on Elm Street movies are good for the younger crowd

edit: forgot about Hellraiser
