So what horror movie do you think is the scariest?

Personally I think Poltergeist is insanely scary

Yup, that was a good one too. I remember one scene, a boy vampire, floating outside this victims window, scratching on the window pane. Let me in..........god that gave me the creeps.

It's Alive. Deformed baby, goes on a killing spree. Scared the pants off me, couldn't sleep that night.

Another vote for Exorcist. Also the original Amityville Horror was pretty creepy. The beast in Poltergeist scared the piss out of me when I was young.

Sarcastic scariest movie: Batman and Robin
Serious scariest movie: The Blair Witch Project - a lot of people bash this movie, but what made it scary was the wierdness in the forest and in the house at the end, and that it was vague as to if there was a witch or just some crazy guy, so it could happen to you in real life if you went camping. One of myy psych teachers knew an FBI guy who said there have been brutal murders involving campers, more than you'd think.

The original Amityville Horror was boring to me.

Agreed, Blair Witch Project. I got to see it the best possible way. Was up at my cottage, drove into a small town about 1/2 hour away. The theater only sat maybe 150 people. Left the town and had the pleasure of sleeping in a tent. It was great.

I watched that movie with my parents when i was like 12 and after i went ot bed my dad went outside and started scratching at my window. That was creepy.

It creeped me out because I used to be terrified of clowns.
And Blair Witch was terrible.
