I want to scan in all our old cc statements, etc. not looking forward to that.
Interesting idea, would you save all the receipts too because I try to keep them organized and with their statements but I've been slacking lately.

I like that some of my cc's now offer cc statements in .pdf format.

I still need to finish scanning in my grandfather's WWII cruise album. It has a lot of really great classic WWII-style pics that he took. One that really sticks on in memory is one of the sailors on a cruiser with an american flag in the background and a little dog in his lap.
I also have to do a LOT of touchup work on one shot of his ship, the Edmund Fitzgerald, because apparently the Navy just has their stock photo where they changed out the identification available, and it would be cool to offer an actual photo to all the other families who lost someone when the ship went down.

I just took my 14 year old daughter's friend home.
On the way, we all stopped at Sheetz and had a redneck picnic. The five of us piled out and got a cup of coffee and two Krispy Kremes for two bucks.
10 bucks for a carload of entertainment isn't bad.

On the way in I told the two 9 year old's to make a serious mess of the counter so they'd get it out of their system before we got back in the car.
I explained that I'd be getting my money's worth and I didn't have to clean it up.
That's a good thing. 🙂

They all told me to shut up. 😀

i'm scanning 120mm film at 4800dpi.. 10,000x10,000 res @ 350mb tiff. 600 films and I've done about 15.. takes 30min per film avg. Doing 6-10 a night..

It took me two hours to scan a 500 page book on my HP 3570C at 150DPI (4.1 pages per minute).
Why are you so slow? 🙂

I've also scanned a few (600+) negatives a few months ago, it was fun.

I guess that scanner sucks. There was no time that I wasn't scanning or saving, except when I went to the bathroom. I didn't even take any breaks.
