Scanner recommendation?

Need to do some scanning of photos...this will be for web work I am doing. Can someone recommend a nice scanner that wont put me in the poor house? Maybe $200 at the most.....Thanks!

I've got a cannon scanner that I picked up about 4 years ago, I know the technology has changed a lot so that might not help much, but at the time I found it to have a sturdier construction, better software, and a lower price than the comparable HP or Epson scanners. It didn't come with any version of photoshop though so all I've had for photo editing are the editing utility that comes packaged with windows XP and the generic editing program that came with the scanner, Photostudio 2000 or something along those lines. I wouldn't say it's worse than the PhotoshopLE or whatever it's called that came with my parents epson scanner, actually I like it more, but it's definately not on par with a full version of photoshop.

waylman, check out the Canon LiDE series. I've had an LiDE 30 for a couple years now and I like the slim design, reliability, and included software. Gets its power from the USB port; doesn't have a power brick.
