Scanner Reccomendation?

We need a new flatbed scanner at work here and I'm looking for some input. It needs to be able to scan images (ie: photos), as well as slides.

I haven't bought a scanner in forever, so can someone reccommend a good model? Price isn't that big of a concern (nothing too crazy though).

I love my Canon 670U but it does not do negative.......... try the Canon D1250UF............. has negative & slidee scanner built in.

In terms of scanning quality, go with Epson or HP. The cheapest model for HP that can scan slides is the 4470 and 3570 for $150 retail. Most OfficeMax stores have the 5370 (discontinued model) for $130 (used to be $300).

I have had both Epson and HP scanners, both are great quality but I prefer the Epson to the HP.
