I have had a Umax scanner for while but am now beginning to use it for more practical purposes such as organizing my paperwork. Maybe someone can save me a whole lot of trial and error. What is the most efficient/viewable format to scan a text document like a bank statement? I will be storing them for the time being, on my hd so I don't want to take up a mega amount of space but I do want them to be easily readable.
I am using the Vistascan software that came with the scanner.
