Scanned PDF to Exce softwarel? OCR will be needed..

Hi guys.

Does anyone know of an app that can take a PDF document and turn it into an excel document?

The only problem is that the PDF is of a scanned document so it will also require some OCR as well.

Preferrably a free package but I doubt any of them are free.

Giveaway of the Day - PDFZilla 1.2. Doesn't specifically say Excel, but maybe if you converted to MS Word first?

Can't be done. I just converted an Excel spreadsheet to PDF. That destroys the spreadsheet cells and makes it a text document. The only thing you can do then is export it as a Word or other text format. But - the spreadsheet cells are lost. Ergo, no point in doing it.

Not explicitly but you can try:
[*]Converting the PDF to Word via OCR (some PDF apps will let you save a document directly as a Word file)
[*]Converting the text to a Word table
[*]Copy the entire Word Table
[*]Paste it into an Excel Worksheet
