Scandisk in XP? How to see if bad sectors are present?

Did they do away with scandisk in XP? Can't find it under system tools. I bought a new hard drive and wanted to do a thorough scan of it for bad sectors. I know there is some sort of analyze function during defrag in XP but it seems way too quick to pick up any bad sectors. Thanks.
 
Or if you're attached to the GUI it's accessible on the Tools menu when you view drive properties. It's called "Error-Checking".
