I baught some parts, they aren't what the seller claimed (not even close). Seller is of course not responding to my emails. I assume that I have to go through all sorts of gyrations with ebay and paypal to get my money back, but what do I do with the junk the seller shipped me? I assume I have to ship it back at my expense, but I don't know where to send it.

I know somebody here has been on either side of such a transaction, anything in particular I should know before filling out the ebay "I've been robbed" form?

File a complaint with Paypal. They will most likely give you your money back. Problem solved...

Open a claim with ebay. They'll get your money back. The seller may not even want the stuff back (that's what happened to me last time). Otherwise, demand the seller send you a prepaid tag to ship it back.

That. If it's a scam demand that they fix it at their expense. If what you bought was cheap they'll probably write it off rather than pay for return shipping.

File complaint ASAP.
Like other comments stated, request prepaid ship back to seller. That or you can request them to waive having to ship it back if it's junk. But PP would probably want some proof that it is junk or scam or whatever.

Maybe for idiots. I've never had an issue with eBay and I buy tons of stuff on eBay.

I haven't used it in awhile but same. i used to use it quite often, buying and selling and never had a problem. i swear the people who get scammed on ebay are too fucking stupid to use it.

It was a pretty simple transaction really. But what the seller shipped isn't what was in the picture or the description. He also had a link to the manufactures website with the model number and specs. What I received was from a different manufacturer, a model of much lower quality, and a completely different appearance.

Thank you to those of you that offered advice, the idiots shouldn't have even bothered answering.
