Not sure how.

I'm selling a car on Craigslist.

Get an email tonight:

Hello my name is ********* and I'm intrested in looking at the car with its messed up trans I'm willing to pay the price you want please feel free to give me a call ***-***-**** or email me.

however I will not be the one seeing the car I'm out in NY my father lives out there and he has the money I told him I don't care about the trans so he is willing to travel out to you to check out the car whenever your ready

I respond:

Hi.

Do you want to come see the car? How will you pay?

she responds:

Cash, Money order, Check whatever works best the money is out there in MA all we need to do is see the car if he is intrested he will pay right there and then

The language is curious, and so is the fact that she's "sending someone else" to see the car.... but then she says she'd pay cash, money order, check, "whatever".

Thoughts?

Who gives a shit if its a scam, as long as you get the full amount paid in cash.

Get cash and do the transaction near your Bank so you can Deposit the cash to make sure it's not counterfeit.
