Scam ebay auction or not?

I have been waiting for the Pink Floyd Pulse DVD to come out forever, I really really really want it. I was looking around on ebay and have seen some auctions with people selling the DVD. I came by This One and I can't find anything in the auction that would tip off if it were a fake DVD or not.

First, the guy has 108 feedback with 100% positive. He states right in the auction "Factory pressed DVD, not home-made DVD-R or cheap VCD" he also states that the DVD has DD 5.1, and the booklet that comes with it.

However, it says the regional code is 0, I have heard before that no real DVD has a code of 0, is this true? other then that, the auction looks real to me. Can anyone spot anything else that I should be concerned about?

a 0 region dvd just means it will play in any region. it should be legit then. ive actually wanted to get that on dvd too. that tape in and of itself made me hold on to a vcr

So official DVDs actually do have the Region 0 code?

I think I might e-mail a few people who posted feedback and ask them about the DVD

So where are these people getting all these from, another country maybe? this guy alone has like 17 of them. Yet, amazon says that the title is not available yet

He's got connexions. 😉

Thats what I thought to, but I see that other people on Ebay have been selling VCD and DVDr's I was thinking that this guy just might want to point out that he is selling the actual thing. I don't know

Could it be a made in China dvd? (aka factory pressed but it's not the same as the retail version you find in the states).

If it were made in another country but was still region 0 that could be legit. In the US we get a lot of DVD's before other countries. Maybe it's the same, only from another country so I'd think it's legit. Worst case you demand your money back, or keep it if it's good enough quality.

I e-mailed one of the buyers and he said this

"I was happy. It looks real, and I got it very quickly. He replied within 1
hour of buy it now, and left positive feedback. Video quality is about the
same as vhs, audio is excelent cd quality. I dont know if its a unauthorized
version, but if it is they did a great job. Kinda of a lot of money, but Im
glad I got it. I bought the pulse vcd, and it kinda sucked. Hope this helps"

Good/bad?

Probably. VHS quality sounds like some of the unauthorized ones that I have. But I do have some that are the same quality as the US retail version too.

I bought a region 0 DVD off Ebay once... poor quality. The one in this auction looks like it's from HK or some SE Asian country. Most likely VCD quality (which is just above VHS quality, I think). Don't let "DD 5.1" fool you. The DVD I got was "Dolby Digital 5.1," but it was just a mono signal pushed through all 5 channels. My receiver thought it was a 5.1 signal, but I got the same track out of each speaker.

I'm not saying that this DVD is necessarily poor quality, I'm just sharing my experience.
