Scam Baiting

As a followup to the *bay fraudster thread, here's a nice article on Scam Baiting.

However, the Everest of scam baiting is to con the conmen and get the fraudsters to part with cold hard cash.
Particularly vindictive anti-spammers will also send "supporting documents" to the fraudsters. When downloaded, these are found to contain not helpful bank details but particularly vicious viruses that cripple the criminal?s computers.

Anyone who falls for this Nigerian scam or any other one on the internet deserves to lose all their money! It's called trimming the fat, we don't need morons on the internet.

If you follow the Chaos Project link, apparently they were able to string along a scammer for quite a while and managed to hijack the scammer's email and web accounts and convince him that he was trying to scam a mafia member from New Jersey 🙂

The Chaos Project site is supposedly using the scammer's hijacked domain.

LOL! I've strung along one of those nigerians before over several emails just asking silly questions and they give personal responses then at the end I'll just tell them to shove it. All in a day's work!
"Perhaps you too will be inspired to adopt a 'pet Nigerian fraudster'. Remember, as well as amusing yourself and your friends, you are doing the world a service by monopolising the time and frustrating the efforts of these people."
LMFAO
