I was reading their site and they offer free broadband, cheap long distance, dirt cheap computer parts. Technically a hot Deal....so don't flame. But I definately, definately think its a scam.

Heh, their order confirmation e-mail had a physical address in Vegas where it ships from... they are about 20 mins away from me :D I think I'll pay them a visit on Tuesday and I'll report. :)

How is this possible? Wouldn't the compan(y/ies) involved lose alot of money?

Nevada... if you check up on it, PM me

2 cents: I think it is not legit because anything that could be a problem to the customers is handled. They said if you do not have a compatible NIC they will give you one for free. How much money is this company willing to lose? Free cable service is like some kind of radio-wave theft, isn't it?

sure sounds like satellite internet access with a direct tv dish...unless the company built a $20 billion ground base wireless broadband internet network, right under our nose?

After reading the WhoIs...they only registered their site in Feb and it expires in a year. Thats pretty weak when you're offering lifetime broadband.

Man...this has SCAM written all over it. Can notebook chipsets even handle 4.5 GB of ram. You can tell that these are just some idiots trying to rip people off. They even advertised 4.5 GB of SDRAM for a Pentium IV...everyone knows that Pentium IV only supports DDR SDRAM or Rambus. Have you ever seen a manufacture advertise a Pentium IV with SDRAM? I hope that the computer illiterate people don't fall for this scam.

So did you fall for it? :) Not to say you're computer illiterate, but it's called the Intel 845 chipset, check it out at NewEgg

845 boards can also be DDR.

They were phoning these guys over at SA. They said they manufacture the HD (400+ gigs) and processors themself so they can pass the savings on. Yea right.
