scaling won't work in XP with latest 266 drivers + HDMI

Are there any registry hacks I could make so that it'll work?

I don't want to replace XP with 7 x86 until I absolutely have to.

I just tried it in my 7 install and doesn't work with 7 either, even though I had thought that it did.

Does anyone know why scaling won't work and how I could fix it? It's pissing me off.

I dunno, everyone was having issues with 260.99 too but its always worked fine for me with my 460's.

Is the option just grayed out like it was in 260.99 for some people or what exactly is it doing\not doing?

In windows 7 (260.52) the options are there but they reset to "use monitor's scaling", and so nothing works; in XP (266) they aren't there at all. What vendor of GTX460 do you have? BIOS? I actually just ordered an eVGA GTX460 1GB hoping that that card won't have the issue (or if it does, maybe I could try different BIOSes). I have an Asus 768MB that has a write-protected BIOS, so I'm going to sell it for a low price as soon as I get my eVGA.
