Scaling at custom lower-than-native res. with ATI HD2600 videocard

I have a 24-inch monitor (1920x1200) and NVidia 6150 integrated graphics. I know how to create custom resolutions and have them scaled in the videocard for proper display on the monitor, using the "Use NVidia Scaling" option.

What I would like to know is if there are options in the ATI Catalyst Control Center to create a custom resolution, even a non-standard one (eg: 1344x840), and have this resolution scaled in the videocard before a native 1920x1200 is sent to the monitor. That's the way NVidia Scaling works, and I would like to know if there is a similar-working option with recent ATI videocards, especially the 2600 series.

I hope my question is clear enough. I am not worried about 1:1 pixel mapping or scaling with fixed aspect ratio.

Thanks

I am asking the question to know if I will still be able to easily/properly scale at lower resolutions if I add an ATI videocard and de-activate the NVidia integrated graphics.
