If you can... why not charge that much. In any case, SCII will be a better purchase than Modern Warefare 2 was.

I'll probably wait 'till Amazon has it for 30 bucks. It took about a month for Fallout 3 to hit $30..I think that was a $50 release, though.

60 bucks for a kick ass game is perfectly reasonable. And despite the bitching, millions of people will buy it.
Theres a concept called "supply and demand" which some folks are not familiar with.
This game took years to make, and they used an assload of highly talented people to do it. They got paid, trust me. No one worked on this project for free..

In fact for as much play time as most of you will put into it, 60 dollars is practically a bargain.

MW2 was 60 also, and millions of people bought it. I guess it's an amazing game.

I'll wait till it drops to $40.

The hilarious tihng is the faggy fanbois will actually pay $60 or $100 for it. Remember when MW2 came out at $60 and people were crying about the sky falling and how it will never work and they'll never pay that much for a game etc etc? I lolled at that too.

It wasn't about the price. It was about the lack of features you get for the price. Anyway, give me a beta key if I preorder. I can't take it anymore. Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!

All I can say is that the Amazon.com pre-order price guarantee rules. They usually list big games well in advance of official pricing. So as long as you hold onto that pre-order, you get it for whatever price the monkey put it in as. If you find it for cheaper somewhere else, then you just cancel the pre-order because you didn't have to put any money down. On top of all of that, they usually offer $10-$20 credit if you pre-order.

So yeah, Amazon.com rules.

I will probably be one of those Collector's Edition buying "fools" everyone talks about. I think the game will be worth the $60 plus, I feel there is added value. SC Battelchest is still at least $20, plus the in game WoW pet is (based on what blizzard sells them for) $10. Add in the other stuff and it comes out to be a decent enough deal for me to buy it.

And there are millions who won't at that price :)

What's wrong with not wanting to conform with a higher price tag just because? Before you know it it'll be $70.

I never got an invite to the beta.

KT

There's a way to still download the game and play against the AI without having a beta key. I haven't really looked into it, but I suppose I should. I've been wanting to give this game a try, but can't get a beta key. If anyone knows of a legit place to download the beta from please let me know!
