I just started to play some custom maps myself, here's all you need to do:

- Open SC2

- Log into battle.net

- Multiplayer button

- Join custom game (something like that)

- Search for your game name and open it up

It will find you partners and download files as needed. Played StarJeweled for about an hour last night, it's pretty fun for a freebie custom map.

I tried the DotA clone last night as well, but I don't think I'll be sticking it out. First dealbreaker is not being able to toggle healthbars (does anyone know how to do this???). I am not going to hold down alt constantly while I'm playing. The fights just feel too flashy/crazy as well. I might be able to rememdy this with some graphic changes, but they are just too chaotic currently. No one out of 4 games would answer a single question I asked either. Also I need to rebind some keys, but only for the custom map if possible.

I don't know about a button that toggles health bars, but I believe you can set them to permanently display in the menu somewhere.

What is the name of the DotA map? Is it an official Blizzard map? I'm interested!

You can set the health bars in the options menu.

StarJeweled is great, Aiur Chef is another blizzard made map, you play as chefs having to collect ingredients to make things etc, pretty fun.

Desert Strike is a good tug of war style map, just has issues running if you have your graphics maxed out.

AKAIK blizz hasn't released their own DOTA style map but there are a bunch of user made ones.

I believe the left Alt key will show all unit and building healthbars, but yes you can have it always on through the options menu, or you can use Alt and not have the green bars all over your screen.

Well for DotA you need those bars constantly up for last hitting.

The name of the map is Storm of the Imperial Sanctum (SotIS).
