Seems there are different story arcs and how you finish this one will effect the next one, a la Mass Effect.
Saw a bunch of units that weren't in the beta, probably SP custom units.
Seems you can also pre-upgrade your troops and hire mercs with credits that carry over from missions.
I didn't notice that many base building scenes, seemed more troop control in the clips they showed.

I remember blizz saying old SC1 units would be in it as well, maybe just the ones that were cut from SC2 like the reaver but there might be more.
 
SC1 units will be in campaign and world editor like Scouts and reavers
I think I remember seeing vultures and firebats in one of their campaign previews also

Thats actually pretty nice, cuz I recall a lot of people complaining this might be just like Starcraft 1 in 3D. In fact I was worried about this myself. Good to see official word that they did in fact make a nice campaign and thats what we will see on release day.

Anyone else going to hit up their local game store immediately on opening? I am thinking I will wait a bit and see how you guys like it.
 
I think most people that want it already pre-ordered it. Others seem to be willing to wait for a price drop. While others are waiting for the battlechest.

I'm going to Gamestop on midnight to get it. My first game that I'm going to a midnight release for.

Those who want a Battlechest are going to wait a LOOOOOOOOOONG time for it.
 
makes things interesting, seeing as how I can play the level in SC1 where Kerrigan gets captured in such a way where her forces aren't overrun and are perfectly safe from the swarm 😛

if only dynamic pathing was in the first game 🙁
