Poor working class Catholics fled cultural and economic segregation to build communities for themselves in America, faced persecution and discrimination from those already here and slowly built communities and political power, all anchored to the church. Can’t imagine why they would fight to protect it.

Why do you always have to insert your identity politics into every discussion? Those people can fight to protect their religious identity just fine using their own money. No one is stopping that. But if they want the public to pay for their kids' schooling, they can be like the rest of us peons and send their kids to public school.

The need to project; a debilitating affliction many of his kind share I'm afraid. What always makes me laugh is when the side who gave up on policy and decided to go with identity politics, decries the left as engaging in identity politics. To them though, identity politics = laws that don't benefit christian white people. Alt facts from alt Americans.
