OK, this might be a long shot in these forums, but I can hope --

I have an existing user in Small Business Server 2003, but he has no Exchange mailbox (wasn't created at the time the user was created). I can't for the life of me figure out how to create a mailbox for him and link it to his account. Help?

Thanks!

edit the users active directory profile, when you include exchange support it should automatically generate the necissary settings.

If you are running AD (which I assume you are), on the Exchange 2003 machine (if it's a DC), go to "AD Users and Computers", > Users > "username" and right-click and choose "Exchange Tasks". You can create their mailbox there.

Yeah... you'd think it would be there.

Unfortunately, it wasn't. As best I can tell, a mailbox was actually created, but not "activated;" by that I mean that as soon as I tried to login to OWA with these settings, a previously hidden mailbox appeared in the mailstor and the exchange manager. weird.

I know what you mean. I had to migrate from Exchange 5.5 to 2003 in a weekend because our 5.5 server crapped the bed. It's a whole lot different and harder trying to learn and run AD AND Exchange 2003 in 2 days. :)
