Has anyone campared the two sound cards? Which one I should pick for WinXP? Does the Edge have any driver problems on XP? I will get the two sound cards very soon and I don't know which one I should use. I don't really need 5.1 for my system now or the near future since I don't watch DVD on my computer. I listen mostly mp3 and play games not very often. Thanks for your input!
 
I've used both, and the AE is a far more advanced and better sounding card than the Live cards in my experience. There have been several driver updates, and I don't have any issues with the AE in Win2K or XP. I personally would suggest the AE. 🙂
 
does newegg not carry the Philips Acoustic Edge? if not what online retailer has it for a good price?

i dont see it at Mwave...
