Hello,
I recently 'upgraded' from windows 98SE to 2K, and overall I am very pleased with it. however there is one big problem I am having, and that is that my sound card isn't working properly. Anything I do that emits sound will 'jump' about 1 second after starting; winamp, a movie, etc. At the moment I am using the win98 drivers that came with the card. I tried to use the 'driver update' that you can get from the creative website, but having installed this, any program that tried to emit sound would crash instantly.
So how can I get it working properly? I am planning on reinstalling, as this is a bad installation and I want to go back to FAT32, so I don't mind if that is the only solution.
Oh and one other thing, I set everything up nicely so that ive got my black background, no pointer shadow, etc, but this is not the default. Before 'logging on', the background is the default blue colour, and the pointer shadow is there. Same when shutting down. This isn't really a problem, just a bit annoying, so any help would be great
Thanks!
