Hi, I've got a little problem with my Sound Blaster Live.

Whenever I restart Windows, the system won't remember that it has 5.1 speakers hooked up to it, and keeps resetting itself back to two speakers. This is evident both in the Creative Surround mixer (speaker set up is set to 2 speakers) as well as the Windows Control Panel config thing. (Start -> Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Advanced)

Anyone know what's going on? I can't get it to stick at 5.1, and I need it to because all the games won't recognize that it has surround sound unless it's set to 5.1.

Go to Creative speaker settings and uncheck "synchronize with control panel" Reset Creative settings to 5.1 and it then stayed for me.
