Hey guys...

I've got a Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer 5.1, and when I play games (Doom3, for example), it always asks me to set the speaker settings to 5.1. I have it set to that in the Creative Surround Mixer (yes, I have 5.1 speakers, FYI 😛), but I found another setting in Windows.

Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Speaker Settings -> Advanced.

There's a setting to what kind of speakers you have. I can set it to 5.1, and then the games run fine, but it always seems to reset itself after a reboot. Anyone know what could be causing it? Thanks in advance.
