SBLive Midi problem

Hey I got a weird problem with my SBLive and Midi playback. I use the 12MB Chaos GM Soundfont, and whenever certain instruments are played in a midi file, rather than hearing the instrument, I get a really loud static-like screech. It is similar to the sound you get when you put a CDROM into an audio-only CD player. I noticed this problem after updating to the newer creative SBLIVE drivers dated 7/2002. I tried the new 2/2003 drivers but the problem persists. What sucks hte most is I do not have a copy of my older drivers, and I cannot seem to find them anywhere for download. 🙁 Can anybody lend me a hand with this?
