Can someone tell me if the Livedrive from the Sblive 5.1 Platinum will work with the Audigy Sound card?
The pin out looks very similar but Im not sure if its the same.

I was wondering the very same thing earlier this evening and I went searching for an answer. I found a post on a forum at Live!Center that says the Live drive from an older Platinum card is compatible with the Audigy sound card except that there will be no firewire port. I also posed this question to my local Creative Rep last week at Fry's and he said he did not see why it wouldn't work. He suggested that if I couldn't find an answer to just go to BB and buy a card to test and return if it didn't work to my satisfaction.

I can't state an absolute positive yes to this question but I'm fairly confident the answer is yes.
 
Cool, I guess my only other question would be if all the Audigy card have that 40pin connector.
Newegg shows the connector on all the cards but that could a mistake.

Hey Speed,

All Audigy cards are identical, the only difference being the software bundle. The Platinum version of the Audigy simply has the new Firewire version of the Live! Drive. All the possible flavors of this card will have the 40 pin header on them. I know this info is correct because it is exactly what the Creative Rep told me last week.
 
I'm looking for the answer to this question too. Did anyone find out for 100% sure if a SoundBlaster Live!Drive works with an Audigy card?
 
Ok, Just got my Audigy OEM from new egg in, everything works on the livedrive but I cant
get Remote Center to work :frown: I installed Rcenter of my Sblive 5.1 disk then did the
Creative update from their web site but it still says it cant find it. I'll try and figure this out
then drop a note back here.
 
Hooked mine up this afternoon and everything works fine. I can't say about the Remote center since I didn't install it since I never use it anyway.
