I unlocked my T-Bird 750 but could only get it up to 850, took out the SBlive and now I can get 900!!!!
What's that all about?

Anyone?

What voltage are you at? This is just a wild guess but maybe your CPU doesn't have enough power with the sound card installed. If you increase the voltage maybe that will help. But I could be totally out to lunch on this! 🙂

I've been all the way to 1.85 and back again but no luck I'm currently running 1.775@850 which is solid as a rock.
I've just read the faq's at Abit and one of the suggestions is to reserve IRQ 5 for legacy ISA. I did this and I managed to get in to Windows @900 - 1.850v but then it crashed on a when I tried to run 3DMark 2000. Then It wouldn't get in to windows at all.

Could be one of the original 750's where the yields were not quite where they are now...which is the stratusphere. I have two durons running 1G plus (1G and 1050 respectively)

You can all be Forgiven

Just installed sblwmedrv.exe which are latest that have just come out and as we speak I am at 900~1.85v@35Celcius idle.
I tried running 3dmark 2000 and it crashed back to the desktop after about 30 sec. It didn't freeze though. HWM said it was @43C straight after. Is that too hot?
