SBLive! + 2 NICS -- which slots to put them in? A7V133

i've heard that nics and soundcards don't like sharing.
i have the a7v133. which configuration should i use? which cards should go in which slots? i need both nics btw.

Put the SB Live in PCI3, and one NIC in PCI4.... for the 2nd NIC you can try 2 and 5.... if its in 5 then 2 NICs will share IRQ along with USB... If you put one in PCI2 it shares with the Promise controller... one of them should work fine. For me personally putting a NIC in PCI2 caused HD corruption during heavy network traffic. But it might work fine for you....

when you say pci 4, do you mean 4th from the left (ie. closer to the agp slot) or 4 from the right (ie. closer to the amr slot) ?

Whenever someone says any PCI # it means from the AGP slot down... so it would be AGP on the top PCI1 next PCI2 next and so on.
