SBC Yahoo DSL has been acting up at night lately

So last night at around 9 P.M., my internet (SBC Yahoo DSL) slowed down from about 1.5 mbit to 200-300 kb. I thought the problem was simply something on my end, so I shut down my computer/turned off my routers/modem, and rebooted everything. However, the internet was sluggish all night. I just presumed SBC was having some problems at their end and went to sleep. Now fast forward to today, its been fine all day up to about now. At around 9 P.M. again, my internet started acting sluggish. This time however, I used tracert to www.google.com to see if I could diagnose the problem. The only thing I can think of is that I'm getting packet loss for some unknown reason. Whenever I would run a tracert to google, I would get around 2-6 timeouts in different places every time. Anyone have any advice on what I should do =O?
 
Call SBC. Since it is happening at the same time daily, it sounds like they are doing something at 9 PM to cause the problem or a lot of people are using the connection at that time, exceeding the capacity of the local equipment.
