Dell Home also has a $75 rebate. Through Oct 30th. Same service, 1 yr agreement required. That's a pretty good deal.

over at FW, I read people weren't able to get the discounted deal via SBC by going thru Dell...it's definitely a YMMV on that one.

If you want to lock in your $26.95, cut-out the middle man and use the code above, worked like a charm for me, plus I got wireless connection pkg like dealonfire mentioned.

Great deal...go w/ your gut

Sorry, dude, but it's not a "great deal" - aside from the odd little (worthless) add-ons , it's the same deal you can get all over, including the SBC home page. I'd look into the Dell rebates (looks like free activation and a free DSL modem) or the Best Buy gift card, if it's still offered.

Coupon Code: DG6892

... hmmmm, interesting coincidence. And the "affiliate" SBC page offers the same pointless "deal."

If it walks like an affiliate shill thread and talks like one ...

That might explain pushing a hot deal that's not a hot deal, and an otherwise largely WOMBAT thread.

Mine's been rock solid where I live...........I guess it depend on where you live.

If your house has old wiring, the performance will be crap. I had to put up with a year of really bad DSL because of my house. It would have been fast but it only worked 40% of the time so they did something to make it more reliable. It was a lot slower but it worked 90%+ of the time.
